Greetings,
My name is
Howard Ryan and I am the founder and original programmer at
Desktop Alert Inc. Please read about my early entry into the
government sector in 1995 when I personally launched the
1st police website in the United States. First and
foremost, Desktop Alert is a U.S. based company whose team
founders include Howard Ryan, Buddy Ackerman (Retired Air
Force) and Robert Hunt (Retired Navy) who are deeply and passionately dedicated to providing the United
States Military with the best force protection notification
products and services.
All of our code is designed by native born
Americans and Desktop Alert is not beholden to anyone
including overseas venture capital companies. We started up in 2003 with a dream to serve and that
dream has become a reality. Visit our
news section and see the evolution. Initially we made a
direction towards corporate sales but eventually, we were
singled out by McGuire Air Force Base for maximum force
protection and that changed everything. Now in our 4th year
of existence we have earned accolades and contracts that have
placed Desktop Alert on the proverbial radar map.
Imagine clicking a button
one time within a web-interface and instantly reaching every
computer in seconds while simultaneously e-mailing
every recipient, telephoning every recipient, faxing every fax
machine, sending a SMS text message and reaching all mobile devices? Enter Desktop
Alert.
With sirens and telecommunications costs spiraling into the
millions with limited effect, Desktop Alert now enables single
point Active Directory enabled, CAC enabled, certificate
enabled, unified messaging capability to one base or many
bases while doing so at costs that are staggeringly
affordable. The system runs entirely on existing
infrastructure and hardware.
Desktop Alert has been selected by several of the United
States largest police agencies for both general mass
notification as well as Amber Alerts.
It is important
to note that Mass notification can now be sent to personnel
located outside, in squad cars, or at other general gatherings like the base
exchange, commissary, hospitals, schools and other base
facilities not operating on SIPRNet or NIPRnet. Public domain
deployments are attainable by opt-in subscription by
end-users. Desktop Alert does not limit its notification
capabilities to select networks. Opt-In subscription is how
Desktop Alert originally launched.
Further, imagine
being able to snag live surveillance video from any camera on
base
send that video live to any desired computer on the network! Additionally, Desktop
Alert is fully
XMPP Compliant. DoD now accepts Jabber as a standard.
Desktop Alert has a
long history with Jabber dating back to the protocols infancy
stages. These combined capabilities are a industry 1st. So,
besides being able to send alerts to all devices, computers
included, now Instant Messaging Rosters may be invoked based
on approved DoD Instant Messaging Protocols!
Desktop Alert fully integrates with
Dialogic Communication Corporation Mass Notification
and has
rapidly become a top selection for numerous and prestigious U.S. Military
installations worldwide.
Dialogic Communicator is the
#1 mass notification platform with the U.S. Military
Worldwide. DCC is installed at over 200 Department of
Defense facilities across 25 countries. The alliance with Dialogic
Communications Corporation is an
honor. Dialogic Communications Corporation endorses the Desktop Alert Unified Notification
Command Control System Platform as fully compliant for
integration with Dialogic Platforms.
Central Command Unified Mass
Notification -

Desktop Alert enables Commands Centers to easily deploy mass
notification on existing networks as well as seamless
migration to reorganized and consolidated networks designed
for single point unified messaging publication across multiple
cooperating domains/networks. With the Desktop Alert Unified
Notification Command Control Platform can deploy a single
interface to all bases thereby eliminating the need for a
base-by-base procurement. Single point unified deployment also
reduces overall system cost substantially. Desktop Alert is
CAC enabled and operates behind digital certificates.
Desktop Alert has been granted authority to operate on
Department of Defense networks.
This essentially means that
Desktop Alert can be deployed at a local level instantly and
at a later date be migrated into a Central Command environment
with no additional technology logistics (lost time) or
costs. Training is synchronized and unified! Desktop
Alert is cognizant of the re-orgs going on in COM centers
across the military. Desktop Alert is architectured
for reorganized and consolidated networks designed for single
point unified messaging publication across multiple
cooperating domains/networks.
Desktop Alert
provides "glowing" references from U.S. Military
customers who have utilized our system for well over one year.
Desktop Alert
will prove all that is asserted here with a free no obligation
trial of the Desktop Alert System to any U.S. DoD facility
worldwide. This has been a standing offer for over 2
years.

Howard Ryan
