The release of Dating Alerts marks the first solution specifically designed to easily enable members of online dating portals to participate interactively with other members without the express usage of a Internet browser or email application. If the member clicks on a alert their default Internet browser opens, logs into the dating portals website and accesses a page that contains a short bio on the member who appeared in the Dating Alert. From there, members may even send each other alerts. The process escalates from there. Its kind of exciting to know that when you are walking up to your desktop you may be looking at the next love of your life. We think its a real groovy idea and as such will seek to re-license the technology.” Dating Alerts is set to launch on Valentines Day 2005.
