If a screensaver is active with OR without password protection, will the end-user still get the alert?
Yes. The alert sent to the desktop will manifest itself in the active screensaver.
This includes text alerts as well as audio-visual alerts.
Screensavers may be targeted to groups and/or
individuals. Desktop Alerts screensaver
configurations provide the ability to display targeted
content in a scrolling banner mode when alerts are not
being delivered. This includes RSS feeds,
proprietary data feeds from a database, integration with
existing banner/monitor content display systems and

Does
Desktop Alert offer integrated voice recognition (IVR)?
Yes.
Desktop Alerts IVR design, integration and
implementation services corral existing and/or disparate
pbx/telephony systems resulting in a centralized gateway
for all alert communications. This effectively enables
enterprise operations to avoid time consuming and costly
restructuring logistics. This is accomplished with
two-way communications channels that (if desired) enable
alert publications both inbound and outbound from any
approved devices on the network and outside the network
including mobile devices, pagers, cell phones and more.

Does
Desktop Alert work with Active Directory?
Yes.
Additionally, Desktop Alert has created a service named
DesktopAlertSync which runs continually on the Desktop
Alert server. This is an Active Directory scanner
application that outperforms other Active Directory/LDAP
query devices for quick management of any changes that
occur in the organizational units. This insures that
alerts mapped to a profile, follow the profile wherever it
goes, even on short notice.
