Account Tab - App Configs Menu
Using the App Configs menu as shown below an Administrator of the Desktop Alert Platform can customize various default system settings.

The App Configs Menu is only available to Desktop Alert Administrators. This area is crucial for default settings and needs to be configured prior to system use.
DefaultAlertHeight - More often then not most alerts sent to desktops are usually the same size height and width. This setting simply insures that when the New Alert feature is selected that a standard height dimension will be preconfigured. This dimension can easily be changed by the alert publisher when creating a new alert.
DefaultAlertWidth - More often then not most alerts sent to desktops are usually the same size height and width. This setting simply insures that when the New Alert feature is selected that a standard width dimension will be preconfigured. This dimension can easily be changed by the alert publisher when creating a new alert.
DefaultExpireDays - A key feature of the Desktop Alert System is to make sure an alert can expire after 'x' amount of days. When an alert is expired end-users will NOT receive the alert at any device. This setting can easily be changed by the alert publisher when creating a new alert.
DefaultExpireHours - A key feature of the Desktop Alert System is to make sure an alert can expire on a certain hour of a given day. When an alert is expired end-users will NOT receive the alert at any device. This setting can easily be changed by the alert publisher when creating a new alert.
GroupPageSize - This pagination setting determines how many groups will appear per page within the interface. This setting can easily be changed by the alert publisher when creating a new alert.

AutoCloseAlert - This setting determines that if Have an alert automatically close is utilized during the publication of an alert that the alert will automatically close without user intervention in 'x' minutes. This setting can easily be changed by the alert publisher when creating a new alert. 0 = Not Used, 1 or more = Alert will close in 'x' minutes. This feature is popular for usage when sending alerts to digital signage such as KIOSKS or ceiling mounted digital monitors where interactive acknowledgement of the alert is not possible and as such the publisher of the alert can rest assured that the alert will not continue to be shown once the alert is no longer required.
DelayCloseAlert - This setting determines that if Delay users ability to close alert is utilized during the publication of an alert that the end-user will not be able to close the alert for 'x' minutes. This setting can easily be changed by the alert publisher when creating a new alert. This is a good feature to insure that end-users do not prematurely close critical alerts.
FullScreenAlert - This setting will make sure that an alert sent to a desktop arrives in FULL SCREEN mode. Regardless of the end-user screen resolution the publisher can rest assured that the alert will take up the entire screen. Desktop Alert will automatically adjust for the screen size resolution at all end-users monitors and if necessary introduce both the horizontal and/or vertical scroll bars in instances where the end-users screen resolution is smaller then the actual alert guaranteeing that all content is visible. ex: An alert sent FULL SCREEN which has a screen resolution requirement of 1024x768 will have no problem being displayed on a screen with a 800x600 resolution.
EnableScenario - This setting will determine if the Scenario Tab will be shown in the interface. 0 = Not Permitted, 1 = Permitted.
